6 websites delivered (US, Germany, Japan) · 1 centralized CMS + design system · 10% increase in site engagement · 5x faster page load
Abiomed's web presence was as fragmented as the problem it was trying to solve — over 800 pages across multiple hosting platforms with no consistent brand experience for patients or the healthcare professionals relying on the site for clinical education. As one of three designers on the project, I led the desktop and mobile design across six fully rebuilt websites for the US, Germany, and Japan, while owning accessibility compliance to WCAG 2.1 standards. The work began with stakeholder and clinician research, moved through three distinct visual directions presented to the client, and landed on a centralized CMS and design system that gave Abiomed the tools to grow on their own. The result: a 5x improvement in page load speed, a 10% increase in site engagement, and a single source of design truth across three global markets.

3 brand directions developed · 3 four-week sprints · 6 key templates redesigned · 1 modular design system
First 5 LA had an audience problem before they had a design problem. The child-focused humanitarian organization needed to shift its digital presence away from parents and families and toward policymakers — a harder audience to earn trust with, and a completely different set of expectations for credibility and clarity. I led the UI redesign, starting with a full experience audit that surfaced failures in usability, accessibility, visual design, and content. Brand expression workshops with key stakeholders generated three distinct moodboards and style directions, narrowed through client collaboration before a pixel was designed. The result was a modular design system — built across three four-week sprints, applied to six core templates — that gave First 5 LA a cohesive, policy-ready digital brand their internal team could manage and scale on their own.

12 pages optimized · 77% more funnel conversions · 48% more engagement · $170k forecasted revenue
IBM's Hybrid Cloud site was losing mobile visitors — engagement ran 23% below desktop despite mobile traffic growing 26% year-over-year. As lead designer and IBM Carbon Design System specialist, I audited over 100 pages, identified the highest-impact opportunities alongside a data strategist, and led the redesign of 12 pages across Product, Pricing, and Solution sections. Using a content-first, mobile-first approach and A/B testing to validate every change, the optimizations produced a 48% increase in mobile engagement, a 77% lift in funnel conversions, and $170,000 in forecasted revenue.
